  • try all I've suggested then you wanna be dropping samples of vocals, random sounds etc. to spice up your track, as well as adding poly rythems which is very easy to do in ableton, copy a sound and its midi mapping to an empty slot so you now have the same section playing twice, then change afew notes around, or slap a arpeggiater on it, then slightly adjust the sound parametres,

goodluck, you got the tools, put in the time bro(y)

  • @scaldash thanks man for suggestion. i will try on it. i know i am not so good with ableton. so always pracitse and practise

  • @TheApc40 your very welcome goodluck with the tunes bro

and its true that ableton is overcomplicated, worst interface, worst piano roll of any pro-DAW software

if ableton aint working out for you, i suggest trialling fruityloops, id use it over ableton anyday, i just prfer the sound in ableton

  • you really need to advance your song beyond intensely repeative patterns, the key is to have and intro consisting of atleast and A and B section, and then to having verse sections and chorus sections aswell as a bridge, but atop that its dance music you want there to be drops a breakbeat, random progression etc.

also you have some seriously powerful hardware thier and ableton is fantastic for its synth modeling, you really want to be doing some serious sound modeling to get some beautiful sound

  • what's the glowing ball thing?

  • you didnt even do anything . all you did was add some effects to the audio

  • nice!

  • hey man, so i was left some cash. my background is a guitar/drummer that plays dance heavy primitive shit... but i've been djing for a bit now.... i was to be able to bring my guitar/drum chops in. i've got ableton suite and an NS7 with ITCH. i am going to spend some money on an apc40,20, the kaoss pro, or an sp555... what would you recommend? nice track by the way
