Protest scenes from this afternoon when President Bush made an appearance at Stanford University. Although he only participated in closed meetings, many students, faculty and community memebers stood tight as the presidential caravan passed.

College doesn't represent a phase when people want to rebel lol! It represents a phase of enlightenment, a phase when people are actually educated and lifted out of the confinements of ignorance. I pity the fact that your undermining some of the most intelligent people in the country. Then again, not everyone can get into Berkeley and Stanford. Anyhow, I think Bush got off easy, I'd like to see him take a trip to Berkeley.

College is that phase when people just tend to want to rebel and protest. The "smart" people going to college don't stay in college forever, so wouldn't you think that the Democratic views would follow those smart people as they progress through their successful professions? I don't think it represents an educated people - it represents a phase. I would not choose the college student demographic to represent typical American views.
