This is an experiment I tried on all of my classes here in Osaka, Japan.
This is an activity I use to teach 16 brand new vocabulary words to my students. Kids really engage this...and really remember all words when finished. By using parts of their sequential memory, they get to use a part of their brains that does not normally function as much during normal language lessons...which are based off of more visual or "footprint" like neural images. They love this game as it tends to use the mimicry involved in a lot of the minigame style DS/Nintendo Wii games they play.
Class 1. These kids are aged 5 & 6.
