Fuck Big Time Rush. Seriously. They added in some generic rapper and boyband pussy vocals, blatantly ripping off Stardust - it's not even a remix. This whole song is a hook; they took it and rubbed their ass on it and took a great big fucking dump.

Can people just lay off BTR. Maybe they did copy or maybe they didn't. If they did maybe it was cause they liked the song, or wanted to bring it to a newer generation. Or, like I said maybe they didn't. The only comparison is the title and like 3 lines of lyrics. With their song they came up with a whole new set of lyrics. And BTR fangirls (and boys?) don't be hating on Stardust. They WERE the original. Everyone has a different opinion, so don't trash it.

Personally, I think BTR sounds like every other pop and boy and on the market, as in, they haven't contributed any new sound or style. There have been other recent artists with actual musical training who have, some of them mimicking older styles and bringing them back. BTR picked an older song and applied popular styling, essentially ruining the unique feel of the original. At least in my opinion. I will give them this- they did pick a great song.

@ItzMeSabrina727 To say that Big Time Rush is better is like comparing old generation video games to Xbox 360 games, or older fashions of dress to current. It's not about who is better, it's about who sounded good during their time period. Styles change, as do what people find musically appealing. I think Big Time rush is good for its target audience, which is the younger generation, middle school through to high school, at a stretch.

@92headdown Thank you. I wish all people were like you. Half the comments I read on here are saying about how much BTR sucks. Maybe if you take out the wrap in that song it would sound a whole lot better. People need to learn that everybody has a different opinion. But they shouldn't express it so harshly.
