With a week to go before the big day I visited the railway once again to film a couple of Santa Trains, the main aim off the day was to see 7828 which was working between Minehead and Blue Anchor
This weekend the railway ran two Santa Specials, one ran from Bishops Lydeard to Crowcombe Heathfield, and the other from Minehead to Blue Anchor.
The Santa express runs from Bishops Lydeard to Williton and back, the railway also ran their Quantock Belle Dining train to Minehead.
The locomotives selecting to run the days trains were -
88 - Santa Express
3850 - Bishops Lydeard 'Santa Special'
9351 - Quantock Belle Dining Train
7828 'Norton Manor' -- Minehead 'Santa Special'
Shots in the video are -
- 88 at Nornvis Bridge with the 'Santa Express'
- 9351 at Churchlands Bridge with the Quantock Belle Dinning Train
- 3850 at Nethercott with the 'Santa Special'
- 7828 leaving Minehead with the 'Santa Special' to Blue Anchor
- 3850 with the last 'Santa Special' of the day seen at Watermeet
I hope you all have a Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thanks

Nice video Jake, particularly enjoyed 9351 with the lighting making for a good shot. Thumbs up!
