That card was gaudy overproduction. I've been a designer for over 30 years and this is a classic case of trying to use every gimmick in the book (and thinking that makes it better). His point is correct...be memorable and pay for quality materials. His manifestation of that point was comical. The fancy di-cuts would be torn and toast the first time it went into a purse, wallet or pocket. Pluuheez.... Hire a real designer who can do a lot more with a lot less.

Plastic with your company name, logo, strapline etc. plus 1 gram of 24 carat Gold sealed in it! Now that is not a cheap business card! LOL!! However, recipients will be impressed and this quality of card is not meant for a roladex either........but they will keep it in their wallet with their credit cards and probably have the urge to pull it out to show people!! Go Gold-Angels give me a gold card they will want to keep (and can cash in if ever they were in trouble!!!) :D
