I live in alaska and alaskan brewery beers are my absolute favorite beers to drink. The new Alaskan white is by far my favorite but the winter ale comes in a close second. I think the floral aftertaste you're getting is definitely the spruce tips which are commonly used to make tea. that is a good beer bro, have you try the new called ranger made by the new belg ( fat tire) it is an IPA , it is the best and also try a beer from flying dog brewery called raging bitch it is IPA with IBU: 60

Gotta agree with you too. Absolutely love the Alaskan Winter Ale (as well as the Alaskan Amber). They consistantly never disappoint!
