well, he still plays. he does a lot of studio stuff and plays for this country singer named neil mccoy. but he did leave the band on good terms which is the way to go. :)
i wanna try to take up this kinda drumming.. ive been playing progressive (dream theater, tool, etc) for 4 years and wanna move on to more "fancy technical" stuff.. anyone have pointers?
he's insane, but at the same time hits every note with reason. It's like a guitar solo... You don't just spam random notes, some of the best solos of all time arn't even that complex.
Monster - plain and simple. Just sick. Hard hitting, yet clean and tasteful - not just a basher. Everything he plays has purpose. Someone get him some counseling please.
