West Hawaii Explorations Academy has launched a capital campaign as it seeks funds to move its campus. WHEA has secured a 30-year lease for other property within NELHA, close to the Gateway Center at the entrance to the facility and outside the tsunami inundation zone. They've hired both an architect and a project planner. The new school design is for a state-of-the-art campus estimated to cost around $14 to $15 million. Big Island News Center reports.
