Great Katana. This was one of my favourites! Draws nice and cuts well. Keep it clean and dry and you will do fine!

the PK is pegged. but you cannot take it apart. I had one before.
you do not have to worry about it. the one i had is one of the old versions. but it had a iron peg which you cannot remove. so it is safe to do cutting and train with. only sad thing is. if you have to clean it. and you need to inspect the tsuka (sword handle). you simply can't.

is it really not pegged jason when i called you explained to me it was pegged hmmmm....?????true you are getting better with your technique aswell could you maybe try and take one apart and find out? maybe if it is in fact pegged at all would be greatly appreciated cuase im seriousely considirin buying this one and a kawashima 1095 aswell thanks alot

its a good sword,but only thing thats bad is the fact that its not pegged at all...i own a practical xl,that is double pegged,and i feel much safer just by nowing that.they should have done the same with the practical..and Jason,keep up the good work with the rewiews...
