Manually closing swing bridge

Manually closing the Sabine river swing bridge on Louisiana Highway 82 in far Southwest Louisiana near Sabine Pass, Texas. A barge hit the bridge and knocked out the electric moter.
My brother (wearing blue jeans) and I were the first few vehichles in line. We assiteted a local Texas highway worker (who happened to be waitning in line for the bridge to close) to manually cloe the swing bridge so traffic could pass.
