For Catherine Deneuve, who's having a terrible time because of Bernard Violet... a writer who has absolutely no business barging into this celebrity's life. She is a fantastic actress! Check out some of her films. My favorites are: "8 Women" and "La Chamade."

  • n'avez vous pas vu 'au plus pres du paradis'? elle est tres bien lá aussi

  • "au plus pres du paradis" est tres bien et... funny... como se va teuni?

  • I just feel like sometimes we get too involved in people's personal business. You know if a celebrity wants the world to know about something, they'll tell us. And if they don't, there's a reason. As for Le Sauvage, it's BRILLIANT. And so is Belle Maman. If I could understand French better, I'd probably enjoy it more. Thanks for the comments, guys! :)

  • I just love your video!!!

  • im so depressed! i've been wanting to see belle maman for so long but i can't find it on region 1 dvd. dammit, why can't we get all french films in the US? WHY?! haha. :D

  • I agree, I love that book, as much as she isn't outwardly talking about her life, she is vulnerable. I think she seems thoughtful, and sweet, and very observant of the world around her in the book--the pics are fun too of course.:)

  • I totally agree, we all have a right to a personal life, whether we're in the lime light or not. I LOVE Belle Maman sooo much, it's my new fav. movie. You've video is really great, thank you for posting it.:)

  • Thanks for this hommage. And thanks for what you wrote about that awful man Bernard Violet. I hope he get sued and looses his mask... I saw his book in a bookstore here in Paris the other day, and I felt like crying. That's one book I won't touch in a thousand years, and I hope others feel the same. Privacy is a human right - or it should be - especially for a talented actress that has given the world SO much beauty and emotion on screen...

  • Hmm, I havent read it in a while. I'd have to read it again, and even then i'm not sure i'd like to make any real judgement about the inner workings of her mind! lol

All i'll say is i think she's incredibly complicated, and i dont necessarily mean that in a negative way.

  • I just bought it y'day - yep, inane and trivial as the reviewers say, but fascinating at the same time. What do you think of the way she thinks?
