Oh man! I haven't heard this song since the late spring of 1971 when I was driving up RT1 north of San Francisco to go camping in the redwoods. He got driven off the radio right about that time and couldn't tour any more in the US. The nazis that control the media didn't like his views and sort of black listed him. It sucked 'cause Country Joe was GREAT! Saw him a few times back then at the Filmore East in NY. It's so good to see people playing his music again. Thanks for posting this.
