HIMYM is very friends. It seems like they just mashed Phoebe and Monica together to create Lily.

@thereturnofflorence The only problem being: Marshall settles down with Lily, and Ted/Robin aren't together. But I firmly believe that this show is like a second version of Friends (the greatest sit-com ever).

@Lilmissrockchick24 Well I have its just been a while and you've got to admit there are a lot of couples between those six people... What I meant was I was sorda ordering them emotionally but thats a bit difficult since even though HIMYM borrows from Friends, they're different shows and the characters are different in a lot of ways.
