@MsRandy09 I am so sorry for your loss I lost a few family members earlier in the year and I wasn't able to say good bye to them we got a phone call saying that my aunt died in her sleep and we wasn't expecting that to happen and when I am feeling sad I turn to this song and I am can't help but cry and feel like there was something I could have said b4 her passing but I was to late

Although I had been singing this song for months now, I had never seen the video until yesterday. I just cried, and cried. My 18 year old son was in a car accident, and it made me think about all the things that must have happened to him durning his four hours of surgery, trying to repair his crushed pelvis. Eventually his heart gave out. We were not notified until after he passed. So I never got a chance to pray for him, or say goodbye. My favorite song is, It is Well with my Soul. 7/11/09 <3

this song and the video covers the exact thing that happened to my mother and I...That moment when you are praying for the doctor to come out of the ICU room with good news of hope.but unfortunately, u see a dark CLOUD in front of you.....the song reminds me of daddy and it gives me hope, that their is LORD.....may ur soul RIP till we meet again.our HOPE is in you ALONE heavenly FATHER.

I was very impressed with the reality of this video. Many videos have the happily ever after ending that makes those who are hurting from loss with more hurt. Thank you for this song and thanks be to God for April for writing it. I would love to hear her story about why she wrote it and where she was at in her life...it give a song such depth to know the story behind the song. Bless your music and bless you for sharing it with the world!!

My response to this video is that I lost my Dad nov 23 of this past year, recently a Man that was my heart and my hero I have never went through death with anyone close to me before and my heart actually just about stopped beating with him it has been so hard but so short of time , at first i blamed god for taking him so early at 64 but knowing that he will be with me again and i cannot wait to see him again this is where my Hope stands with my lord.. this video is my life right now thank you

Definitely touched by this song especially being a new medic myself. The pressure of having another person's life in your hands at 24 is beyond stressful, but at the end of the day I can seek comfort in the Lord and hold my soon-to-be-wife and that keeps me going.
