  • Great video, sister! I got a better idea of how to better me and my husbands locs. I have a question: In your method, you don't blow dry your hair at all! I like this, but I heard that you have to blow dry in order for them not to smell funky or moldy. Is that true? Oh yeah, my locs are way longer than my pic now, but thinning :( Thanks.

  • @VISIONSbyLauren I always make sure to wring my hair out and then towel dry first so that my hair isn't sopping wet before I start twisting. if you do that then overnight should be fine. i've done this method for over 2 years and have never had an issue with my hair smelling.

  • @chescalocs Thanks so much for responding and thanks for posting such great information about your loc-u-cation! LOL Look forward to your new videos! Peace and Guidance to you always sister.

  • @VISIONSbyLauren you're most welcome! thanks for watching and enjoying! :)

  • Question: how often do you wash your hair?

  • @zzdesolatezz every 2-3 weeks. it just depends

  • I talked to my "loctician" about this method, and she advised against it because she said it eventually weakens your roots. Before I even found this video, I'd been retwisting my hair this way, but found that they were getting weaker, so now I do mine with clips. But using the clips for me still doesn't have the same neatness that using this method did. :-\

  • How long have u been growing ur locs?

  • so sexy mama

  • How do I remove lint build up that is embeded into the root ?

  • I have the same hair line and I can't stand it. I usually gel it down before bed and tie it down with a wrap. By morning it is nice and flat. The downfall is that once you sweat it all comes right back out. So what's the point, right?

  • I did your method and it worked great :-) I still used a few clips to hold down my locs in place, I didnt use pony tail holders because my hair isnt that long yet! Thanks for sharing

  • You have beautiful locs!!!! I hope mine grow that long & healthy lol I just started mine almost 4 months ago

  • Hi! I am so excited to have found your page! I have only been locking for about 6 months now. How long have you been locking? They are gorgeous!!!

  • Hi! Just seeing this video for the first time; I'm definitely going to give this a try next time I wash. One thing though: my locs are *just* long enough for a high ponytail, which would be kind of uncomfortable to sleep with. Is there another way to secure them to dry without clips?

  • I SWEAR by this method now...It's so easy, fast, and I love the results afterward!
