I recently just heard of this airplane. My dad loved airplanes and I also have grown to enjoy them too. We watched stuff on tv and he had a lot of books on numerous different kinds of aircraft. But, I've not seen the A-1 or it's varients. My favorite types of planes are WW2 era, however, I saw the A-1 didn't have a jet engine and then heard what years it was in service and became really interested.
