Either Dionne had gone for an experimental tempo acceleration or she is a wonderful, wonderful actress because I could not spot a single reaction of surprise to the speed.I would opt for the first possibility, as there was something of a transition around 1987 and this may have been a strategy to keep up with the times.This is just a theory- if anyone has more concrete info., it would be great to know.

The band is on "crack" The intro was at a break neck speed....then when the vocals come in they settle into the right groove? Was the click track off in the intro :)
