バグパイプの音色が日本の篳篥ににてますね。

this song was played at a funeral in my family.
I know it is a great song but I can not hear, unfortunately!

@proof2580 yeah whatever.

No, I didn't contradict myself. If you want to be pedantic about it, i added a stipulation to your otherwise silly definition of what it takes to become part of a particular culture. (it doesn't have to develop exclusively in one country to be connected to that country, because in the melting pot of cultures we have, it's impossible to not be influenced by outside cultures)
Also, your claim to authority on the subject is silly as many of the facts you've posted are plain incorrect.

I see you contridict yourself in your comment.
All culture is part of one big melting pot, nothing can be exclusively Irish
and
are played far more frequently in Ireland with a unique Irish style, and have come to represent Irish culture to some extent makes them..... Irish!
Really so the penny whistle isnt played in the UK originated there? Also the bazukis greek and this irishness of the trad instrument really pissed off Greeks.

@proof2580 how does the truth about the origin of musical instruments belittle ireland? Dont talk rubbish. I've been there, lived there and know far more about the musical heritage of ireland than most. You have read too much essays by Flood!
No musical instrument can be said to be exclusivly developed IN Ireland including the irish whistle, irish pipes, irish flute. Oh and the Bodhran isnt a traditional musical instrument as it was only included as one in the 1960s.

@seonidh " * belittles Irish music *
oh, but I'm not trying to belittle Irish music!
* belittles Irish music some more * "
;=|
All culture is part of one big melting pot, nothing can be exclusively Irish because one cannot say it wasn't influenced by other things. External things. The fact that they developed to their entirety in Ireland, are played far more frequently in Ireland with a unique Irish style, and have come to represent Irish culture to some extent makes them..... Irish!
Damn Japanese people rock at every instrument now. Well done.

Reminded me of God painting a sunset. Hatao...when you hit those high notes on that gorgeous irish flute...it was like God spilling reds and yellows down the horizon of sky as one looks across the ocean. Interestingly...Amazing Grace is a sonset, because a sunset is whats left after the day...and that is grace. Your song was pure beauty. Thankyou...and peace from Tacoma Washington U.S.A
