I don't own the rights to this song. Marty Robbins: Streets of Laredo. The song was released by Robbins on a 45 EP that included "El Paso," "Big Iron" and "Devil Woman." Robbins was such a fan of western music and he cut both new and old songs of the West throughout his career. "Streets of Laredo" is a genuine American folk song that started out as an Irish drover ballad called "Bard of Armaugh." As immigrants moved west, they changed the words to fit their new home.
