  • wow, this is good music

  • you say that like your surprised????

  • I have a bootleg of this concert, but the quality isn't as good as yours. Did you do something to clean it up, or did you just get a better version that is out there somewhere? Thanks for posting, there is some really good stuff in this concert.

  • no sir I don't believe i know how to clean it up or whatever. I must of just got a better version..But like you said there is some excellent stuff in this concert..maybe one of my favorites

  • Listen to the power and incredible forward motion they get going during Duane's solo. I just can't remember any other band at that time who could get that kind of whirlwind of sound hammering and skating like a dervish on an adrenaline rush...

  • Thank you, bthoma1, for once again sharing these rare & priceless ABB w/Duane audio files. You are providing a great public service to those of us who really appreciate it!

    Bruh,

I'm pushing 57, from Alex area, and never got to go see 'em until New Year's Eve, '71. Young, poor as a church mouse, always said I'd catch 'em next time. Hell, they played the Warehouse about 6 times a year then...anyway, was going to hitchhike down in September, but Hurricane Edith came blowing through. Anyway, same thing..."next time". Sadly, there was no next time for Duane. Made the 12/31/71 show. Email me,and I'll elaborate. markicorley@yahoo.com

  • Unreal to hear this. Thanks for sharing it.

  • Don't forget, Emerson Lake and Palmer and Blue Oyster cult also played the Warehouse. The Allman brothers would play a free concert sometimes with Wet Willie at the butterfly on the river at Audubon park the day before they played the warehouse. The brick structure of the Warehouse and the cypress wood roof would ring with the slide guitars. Thanks to Beaver Productions.

  • This show was great.....EVERY time they came to the Warehouse they were great.....of course the venue was conducive to awesome music....the most we ever had to pay was $5.00 ..free if u brought a piece of carpet 4 the floor..I feel bad that young people today don't have access to venues like that....I got to see Greatful Dead, the Doors, Jethro Tull, Yes, Procol Harum, Leon Russell (who often played with the Allman Bros) The Who, Jethro Tull, Yes ZZ Top, & I can't even remember who else....

  • @muskratrowdy There are a couple good "remastered" boots, and this is probably one of them.

  • damn, sick ass shit around 4:34........Reestablishing my assertion that this band was the titty shit.

  • Bthoma - Nice to hear the original masters at work. Thanks Juiceman
