Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos (Part 1) Snorkeling Excursion

Day 6, at Grand Turk! What amazing colors of the ocean! It goes from shallow to straight down 6,000'!!!
We had a freaking BLAST on the Catamaran Excursion! They served Rum Punch and Rum & Coke to us at the beach! Floating around to everyone refilling drinks on noodle floats! It was so funny! The Captain was so funny & both Mikes were great fun too! Everyone had a wonderful time! After snorkeling for approx 45 mins, we sailed to our very own private beach. We took a walk on the beach & played in the crystal clear, turquoise water. While being served with an endless supply of Rum! lol! We thought we'd snorkel in somewhat shallow water. Little did we know we were being taken right next to the drop called 'The shelf'! Ah! Joel jumped right in!...I decided to walk down the stairs & hold on for about 10 mins! Oh yeah, it didn't help when Joel said "don't look down!" after jumping in! Of course I'm gonna look down after that! Ah! We took great underwater pics! I actually swam over the drop & looked down to the dark blue, deep water! Until I saw a school of big fish & didn't wanna see any sharks! It was so erie not being able to see the ocean floor! But I think I conquered my fear of the deep ocean that day?... Well, maybe not! lol!
I recommend everyone try this excursion!
Approx 3 hrs & $90/pp. But worth every penny!

Im glad you posted this...I was looking on the Carnival site trying to figure our what excursions to book since they book fast and I saw pics of this one online...with the tour guides on board too! Glad I'm seeing it in motion....the rum punch helps! LOL!

30' to 6,000', yeah, I'd call that a 'shelf'!!! Great video, we're going here on our honeymoon Oct 16-23. Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, San Juan & Grand Turk & WE CAN'T WAIT!!! Counting the days!!! :) Again, great video, thanks for sharing :)

@SkyesTheLimit21 Carnival Triumph? I've been on that one before. I can't watch anymore cruise videos, they are making me sad that I'm not somewhere tropical at the moment :'(
