@RussMiller1000 The Coconino Sandstone is desert sandstone. It has desert fossils in it, desert sand and wind crossbedding. The Redwall has slow growing Corals.

@gregrutz Which is a fancy way of say spontaneous generation

@gregrutz Actually the water flows southwest & the north rim is not "wider." The north rim is 1,000 feet higher due to the slope of the Kaibab Upwarp through which the canyon cuts. This uplifted 4,500 feet of strata (unbroken as they were still mud) formed the dam thru which the waters quickly carved out Grand Canyon.
Why don't old-earth believers ever discuss the mile deep layer of strata missing from atop the Canyon's rim? Because a global flood erodes all old-earth beliefs

@massimmortal There is no v-shaped Grand Canyon; there is no logical explanation of how Grand Canyon could have formed slowly; The 908 cubic miles of missing sediments are indeed missing - the small delta is post-formation; The Scablands and many other canyons have formed quickly - moving water is quite powerful.

More evidence is piling up against old-earth beliefs that have been taught as 'science' about Grand Canyon. No desert sand dunes are found at GC. The dunes found formed underwater and the evidence is staggering. When will secular 'science' start teachng the truth?
if it takes hours to form the grand canyon the river near my house should have eroded the surrounding rocks, the nearby dam, and all the old bridge pillars made from stone. but they have been there for over 100 years..hmm

@bauerkurt87 Several canyons have been observed to have formed in massive waterflows, such as following a breached dam. On the other hand, If rivers carve out huge canyons over millions of years, and if earth were billions of years old, every river, stream and creek should be a Grand Canyon by now

of course a pyroclastic flow coupled with massive ice melt, carrying trees, huge rocks will erode soil within hours...

@bauerkurt87 Accounting for the nearby perified forest as well
