  • Jason, Very interesting! Yes, 1984 is the culture shift date, exactly. And the new generation (Millennials) starting being born in 1982. Gens are always born a few years before the culture shift: reference GenX born 1961-1981 and the big whopper culture shift coming in 1964.

    Check out "Millennials in the Workplace: Human Resource Strategies for a New Generation" to freak yourself out more. They're not "lame," they just expect -- and will demand -- greater adult involvement in their lives. :-)
