First getting together in the fall of 1974, "A New Song" ministered throughout the Upper Midwest for almost twenty years. With a few minor and temporary personnel changes to the mixed quartet itself, "A New Song" added the voices and instruments of the Franz and Keinanen kids as they came along. Truly a family group (though including more than one family), the members of "A New Song" remain close friends to this day, and look back at their ministry experiences with fond memories. This particular song was a medley comprised of "I Don't Know Why" and "I Should Have Been Crucified" for the radio ministry of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cloquet, Minnesota sung on Sunday morning, July 23, 1976. Leslie Franz and Wayne Rosbacka were the soloists.
