November 25/2008: Heading down 127 Ave, I encountered 3 Ka band sources straight ahead. Turned out to be 3 EPS Crown Vics, 1 marked and 2 unmarked. After turning at 113A street, I encountered 1 unmarked SUV with a dash mounted Ka band radar unit as well as a marked Crown Vic running Ka band. God bless the Valentine One's bogey counter!!

  • MUTE THAT THING christ haha, I take it you have your X band disabled?

  • lol ya its gets annoying hey? I do have X band disabled.

  • how can it pick up the signal being all the way down there?? Someone please reply to me

  • Do you understand how radar works? The cops are transmitting a radar signal that travels from their radar gun, hit the moving vehicle, and then comes back to the police car, and by this they can calculate your speed. Radar waves travel a long distance from the source, and the Valentine One is a VERY sensitive radar detector that can pick those signals up way before you encounter the source, in this case the police car.

  • Complete V1BlueShark beta edition for Android phones which can receive V1 signal and show it in 2D Graphical layout with repeated Voice Alarms for all bands.

Next Version will add GPS, Auto Mute and database functions which can replace [ audio alarm(but with voice) + Remote Display + the new Savvy device ]

Test it with success using Huawei u8180 (Android v2.2)
