How to make the Aussie classic! If you haven't heard of lamingtons before, they are a sponge cake dipped in chocolate icing and coconut.

Ingredients:

Sponge:
¼ cup plain flour
¼ cup self raising flour
¼ cup corn flour
½ cup caster sugar
3 room temperature eggs
Dash of vanilla essence

Icing:
1 cup icing sugar mix
2 tbs cocoa
3 ½ tbs milk

Desiccated coconut

  • @Tecpro98 caster sugar is regular powdered sugar. Dessicated coconut is coconut flakes, basically. Hope that was helpful :)

  • Hi! I was womdering, we have no self-raising flour that I know of here, can I use regular wheat flour and add some baking powder for it to raise?
