@colean9412 yes your files and whatnot will still be on the hard drive. The Hard Drive is separate from the RAM. Storage is different from the RAM :)

Can you open the back case without taking out the battery? I know you need it turned off for the ram exchange but still can you do it?

@BillbertoPerfecto better performance on multiple programs....faster boot time and quicker turn on of various programs. Your computer has to work less hard to do daily tasks. Its worth the $ on this netbook.
