Several barn owls were introduced to an old barn on the Fermilab site with the hope that they will imprint and establish a new population.

  • This is why I like fermilab, they handle their grounds very well and do a lot to encourage wildlife here. The last time I went there, I'm pretty sure I saw a yellow-crowned night heron, which are endangered throughout illinois

  • Awwwww! i luv barn owls, thier my favorite kind of owls! ( i do love other kinds of owls but i gotta say barn owls r my fav! =D )

  • I saw one last night only 3 miles from Fermi Lab.
