Learn to beat players like Messi and learn how easy it is. This should be used when running at players. It's very simple but it works. You can increase the speed as you get better.

Please subscribe to this channel

STEP 1
Make the defender move where you want them by dribbling the ball close to you and to the side of the defender. Dribble to fix the defender but move opposite to where you want to go.
STEP 2
Look for the defender to start to move and shift their bodyweight. As soon as you see this make your move.
STEP 3
Don't get too close. This will make sure the defender can't reach the ball.
STEP 4
Make sure you change direction and move sideways by touching the side of the ball.

Keep Practicing

  • @nothingq8 the point is to make the player think he can get the ball and make him move. He wouldn't stand still would he. so move to one side and then change direction as soon as his body weight has shifts. got to learn how to do it. it is very simple and thats what Messi does

  • @nothingq8 Messi uses left leg :)

  • The idea is correct, but the video fails to highlight the important aspects of beating a defender. It shows a change of direction, but it's very telegraphed and most defenders would be aware that a player would prefer to be on their strong foot. You should do this and put some actual points in the video highlighting the change of pace and direction. Also show at least 2-3 ways to beat a defender to keep from being predictable.

  • "Learn to beat players like Messi and learn how easy it is."

YES, and that is why Messi is the only person who is able to do it, because "its so easy"

joke of the day :D And its only 07:52 here

  • @odissey505 That's because when Messi uses this technique he's in a league of his own. Same technique, except that of course Messi just does it in a way that is so masterful that you'd think it's different. But really it's exactly the same, it's just that when Messi does it, it's more effective. It's like comparing a slow stepover to a fast stepover. Same technique, different delivery.

  • @nick1177 don't sh!ting yourself, any dumb footballer can do that
