there was a girl in my school named Baylee and she has down syndrome. she has moderate mental retardetion so she cannot go to a reguler classroom. she has tons of joint pain and is half deaf so she has someone come in on tuesdays to test her. she loves puzzles, watching tv, and tons of attention. only i know her this well because i see her in the special needs room all the time when i'm having tests. i think about her all the time and i hope she likes the highschool! <3

hai i have a boy with down syndrome and he is now 3 yrs and 4 months.
joe is doing excellent iam amazed.pls let me know how u trained him my son is not talking,jumping running...and he is not aware of lot of things.his favorite is just to bounce in the sofa or on his dad lap.i dont know what to do?and dont know how to ............................pls help!!!!

Joe didn't say more than a few words until he was four either. We got him learning site words and that helped a lot...both with the reading and the speaking.
