Golden Gate Hotel & Casino Room Review

My room at the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, located at the top of Fremont Street, in downtown Las Vegas. The room was small, but clean, and came well equipped with everything I needed. The bathroom needed upgrading, but the shower was nice and hot. Well worth the money I paid, and I would recommend it to anyone. Video shot using a Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10 HD pocket camcorder.

@RetroHelix357 I think all the rooms are pretty much the same. The 2-doubles rooms might be a little bigger. I would stay here again if I got a good deal. You could probably stay at the Gold Spike or the El Cortez for less, but staying under the Fremont Street Experience is just more convenient.

I heard Circus Circus was charging like $250 for a standard room on New Year's eve. Sheesh.

If you can get a good deal I would definitely recommend you stay here. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. I was right on Fremont Street, and the noise was not an issue. Two thumbs up.

I swear, I was just in the room next to you!It was small,but fun! Loved I could open the window and watch the light show,and stage at the same time!Also if you do stay for 11 bucks a night they mail you another 3 free nights stay,and 45.00 in food credits!The huge shrimp coctails are I.99,and prime rib dinner is only 9.00!Old ,but clean!I had a blast dancing in my window lol!!

@habs798693 I stayed at Circus Circus on Halloween 2009 and it was really bad for me: from my room to the Strip it could take me like 25 minutes to walk and if I forgot something...daaaamn!!!

Great Casino, good drink service... Would love to try this hotel... Great Freemont location...... Basic room but the location makes the difference

I got $50 per night on superbowl weekend (fri/sat). The place is worth it and better than crap rooms at Excalibur/Circus Circus that are running for $150 per night.
