The Electric Universe theory is that the Sun does not emit its energy as a by-product of the fusion of hydrogen into helium. If that were true, then the surface of the Sun would not be at 5000 degrees whilst a few hundred km. above it, the temperature is hundreds of millions of degrees. The temperature gradient is from outside to inside, therefore the Sun's energy comes from outside it, in space, as a result of the flow of galactic energy currents.

@GateMessenger In other words the sun uses nuclear fusion of it's power source, the reason why it is so bright is because how hot it it.

The sun does not burn. It is not on fire. In order for hydrogen to burn there needs an oxygen atmosphere which the sun does not have. The sun's heat & hydrogen comes from the pressure which gravity exerts upon mass. To see this use gravity as the work force in the formula of thermodynamics. Gravity produces heat constantly. IMO the sun's built up energy expels as an electromagnetic wave which we detect as light and other forms of radiation.
