Its helps to tape it down to the image you're tracing on two opposite sides to hold it in position, and then to check your lines slide some black construction paper between the two surfaces. The lines show up against the black paper very clearly.
Lovely.....I like to use drypoint ,currently using more drypoint card...but I find cut down tetrapacks (orange juice cartons )inscribing the shiny inside area also works nicely+is green too :)))) ..how many prints would you expect to get from perspex plate if put thro' press pressure before it becomes less sharp? also any tips for home printing this way without a printer....am sick of lino blocks...sore hands ;((( lol thanks +have subbed you 2

Drypoint etching is specifically done without acid. Get educated.

Nice work but get a dremel 300 will save you alot time and hand pain all that pressing must kill your hands .
