I am a literature addict, a recovering book worm and a beginner poet. For a few years now, I've worked at erecting bridges between cultures showcasing others' words for a while and translating them from a language to another. Now, some of my own words are asking to be heard and I've decided to let a few of them out. Stay tuned for more soon... SPOKEN WORD performances coming up in 2009.

Born and raised in Beloeil, Québec, Élizabeth grew up in a bilingual environment and quickly fell into the well of multiculture and languages, by choice. When other kids watched cartoons, she watched some TELE-ETHNIE. Her thing was to learn new words, new languages and new customs that were foreign to her friends. Today, Montréal is a world she embraces and feeds upon discovering.
Although she's been doing events for a while and her voice has been heard reading other people's words. (Éliz is a literary translator, an MC and a host first and foremost...) Lately, with the approach of her year 30, she has ventured into unleashing words of her own. She writes in French, English and Spanish.
Inspired by contemporary Canadian poets and performers, Éliz hopes to have fun along the path called life. Blessed by the friendships of artists and kindhearted spirits, she aims to do just that.
