This a video detailing how to measure a package to ship with a major carrier like DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc. I work for a large carrier and this is how it is required especially if you're having your package picked up. I've been disturbed by the amount of people who don't get it.

It is my job to educate the shipper about that however you can only reword and rephrase things so many times and hear I don't get what yer saying so many times before coming to the conclusion that the person on the line is a complete idiot that needs it spoon-fed to them in this manner. Its like the old saying you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. You can give an idiot the information but if they don't have the cognitive ability to process it effectively its useless.
