  • You shooting in RAW or JPEG?

  • @wesleyscoggins always shoot raw if you can

  • In the second pic + 2, I think that the sky is too bright, too much highlight...

  • @mreinstein48 its a gray over cast day, it is either a dull gray sky or a bright white sky, i know which i would choose

  • I hope your gonna respond to this mate!

You made a tutorial for night sky shots (which was really nice). Now this aint the proper time to ask this but when spring is here and you remember this make a tutorial for lightning photography :D.

    Challenge accepted? :P

    Cheers!

  • @ChrYssbulanu never get lighting in scotland, none that is interesting. wont be having a review or tutorial of that any time soon

  • the first picture is alot better in my eyes i dont like the +2 one

  • @Dombowerphoto get some multi-exposure action up in that shit for the sky lol. I guess you aren't using a tripod, but you can do a bracket and shoot at really fast bursts while steadying yourself. If the images are a little off you can correct in photoshop. Then just do a layer mask and gently combine the two.

You know all this though. That's all for if you aren't using flash and want to be all artsy lol.

  • Inspiring and informative video... added to favourites. Thanks for sharing Dom:)

  • cool accent

  • @ragnarocking

digging a little deeper into the topic, I just recalled the purpose of those mysterious little silica gel bags that seem to come packaged with every electronic device sold under the sun... they absorb moisture!!!! Coupled with the plastic bag, it should provide a good remedy. Going to pick up a couple dozen of these the next time I'm at B&H.

  • @Dombowerphoto

which is why you're supposed to squeeze out the air and seal the bag outdoors, before bringing the lens in. As long as there is little-to-no water-vapor/air in the bag, the condensation will only occur on the outside of the bag.
