Silent Hill 3 HD: Hospital Store Room

For anyone who hasn't experienced one of the most disturbing moments of Silent Hill 3 in high definition... here's your chance. This scene epitomizes why the third entry in the Silent Hill series is far and away the most frightening with its surreal, reality-altering sense of dread, panic and confusion.

Silent Hill 3 HD is a series that relives the memorable moments and classic cut scenes from the game, brought to life in beautifully remastered, fully re-rendered 1080p. Although this game was not originally designed with high definition in mind, it still manages to look incredible and is something that every fan of the series should be able to enjoy and appreciate. Because Youtube compresses 1080p videos pretty heavily, most of the higher texture detail is lost. Less compressed versions will be available on the blog.

@Senshiboi99 I actually agree with you . . .to a point. Homecoming and Downpour are a little more action-oriented and the scares in those 2 games are more rapid-fire. SH3 has a Hitchcockian-buildup of suspense, which a lot of american horror films and survival horror games could benefit from.

@DrinkPAB have you played origins? that's not really what happened, they tried to summon their demon god once by burning alessa? i believe? the trucker saves her before it can finish, he then helps her gather the satanic like objects that allow her to spread her evil throughout the town, thus why otherworld is so widespread in the games
