Why is everyone so concerned with tone purity... polished dynamics... perfect decay... perfect sustain... designed-to-perfection crap? This is fuzz LOVE.. this is fuzz with ALL the flaws.. all the little grime and compression and unclean, ungodly, unholy sounds that distorted wave forms originated from!!! Sliced up speaker cones... over-driven pre-amps on mixing boards of the 50's... sessions recorded directly to vinyl before the days of tape and processors and protools. This is for the players with soul and passion... from the bedroom warriors, to the penny street hustlers... from the stadium rockers... to the juke joint shooters.

enjoy.

  • Is this super trebly? And also does it sound somewhat like a Squier SP-10 on a trip from hell?

  • @MrMuddyBleach It can get pretty trebly, kind of in the way a tone bender can get trebly. However the right side of the control knob emphasizes the bass tones and when it's cranked it has an Eq similar to a big muff only more angry.

  • @PumpkinPieces33

Is this good in a band situation?

  • @ChickenFaeces I've used the Torn's Peaker on many occasions in a three piece and it stands out just fine. However for a for bands with more than one guitarist it might get lost in the mix when playing rhythm if the texture is turned to far clockwise, it usually holds its own when play leads though. The way the texture knob works with the Eq of the pedal really helps with tweaking it to work with a fellow guitarist's tone.

  • Lil Richie in mom and step dads finished basement. No tone, No expression, No execution, and No shame. Thank you for the soundtrack to THE DEATH OF ROCK AND ROLL. Mom loves showing off her lil grunge pookie so much she buys him a Devi Ever ever month. I bet S.Dad is a big Boss fan. You will show him with your Devis. Devi is a evil genius! She is making a living off of you lil turds.

  • @herbieflynn Glad I could inspire such contempt in your little internet existence. And I trade for these pedals, I only own a handful at a time. I don't know why you have such a distaste for me, and how you constructed a little idea of what my life is like in your head. But for every person like you I have 20 other people to say otherwise. So please waste your time somewhere else.

  • @PumpkinPieces33 Well as long as it's not as thick as a muff then I think I'm pretty sold on this thing. I like it, and I like your demos too, I love these crazy Devi fuzzes and such.

  • Does the torns peaker sound good on an ss amp?

  • still trying to figure out which fuzz does the moody atmospheric 3D sonic youth daydream type fuzz the best...this ones in the running

  • @herbieflynn You are the reason I avoid reading youtube comments.
