@xridethelightningx the most talented player who has not won a slam (with Marcelo Rios) (IMO)

I'm Federer fan, but I should say: all his behavior because of his ankle was as if he said "will be one of the most unlikely results of history, what can I do?". Today Federer has defeated Nalbandian many times and Nalbandian has defeated Federer the same number of times. Because of the behavior from Federer in this match from there on it was as if Nalbandian said, "ok, you're Roger Federer, probably the best tennis player of all... But I'll show you who I am."

6:59, whoever disses slice shots is a moron, enough said.

@xridethelightningx I completely agree, but he doesn't have to win a slam for people to know of his awesomeness :). Nalbandian is a great player.

yes, federers movement was not 100%, but I can't remember a time where I've seen him hit the ball so cleanly. I think the way nalbandian hits the ball makes it perfect for both of them to play just clean, sexy tennis
it's a shame (and an anomaly) that nalbandian never won a slam.

@TJFederer15 Not to take anything away from Nalbandian who was in the absolute zone but yes Roger was coming back to injury. Prior to this tournament he was on crutches for four weeks and couldn't practice one bit until he arrived in Shanghai. Clearly his stamina was badly affected because if a professional athlete turns inactive for just two weeks, especially an intense sport like tennis, your stamina will begin to degrade, let alone 4 weeks.
