German language overview of the hand assembly in Germany of the Mercedes-Benz x55 AMG motor.
The M113 5.5 ML is a supercharged and twin-intercooled version of the 5.4 L (5439 cc) M113 E55. Output is 493 hp (368 kW) (469 hp for the E55 AMG) at 6100 rpm with 516 ft.lbf (700 Nm) of torque at 2750-4000 rpm.

  • @aetechllc After watching this video I understand why I see so many 30 year old Mercedes on the road. These cars are built to last.

  • Incredible attention to detail. These cars are specifically built for owners to attend and participate in "track day" events. You get what you pay for and these cars are a bargain for the price!

  • Rock solid machinery, so why abuse it?

  • I'm an owner of a C55 and I know that these engines are rock solid machinery. Then have very high tolerances and can take a LOT of abuse. I became an AMG fan since then.

  • you never build a motor without glove's because you get your fingerprint's on the motor critical part's
