At 9:45 AM on Tuesday 6 January 2009, four 48 class locos and a tanker wagon pull into Stockinbingal station, west of Cootamundra in southwest NSW. The station is no longer manned but the signal box is still used for safe working, the levers and electric staff machine operated by the second person who gets authority for the section. These locos (4892, 48103, 48135 and 48101 dead attached) have brought a loaded wheat train from Hillston and left the rake in Temora station yard, where they picked up the empty diesel tanker for return to Cootamundra.
