Part of Wal-Mart's 2008 "Mother Earth" Campaign, touting the importance of compact-florescent light bulbs. Uploaded for a very critical blog post on Wal-Mart's environmental impact despite it's "green" appearance.

  • The running debate has been deleted. While it was fine for a time, this is what blogs are for. My YouTube site isn't here to be your debating ground. I'm sorry, but I have deleted the entire thread. Go find a site meant for debate if you insist on trying to tell us all we are wrong and then beating a dead horse.

  • 200 million Walmart shoppers clog nation's arterials after Walmart runs greenie lite bulb ad. Claims to eliminate 11 million cars from the road now suspect. Weary Walmart shoppers spent on average $47 in fuel while driving around Walmart parking lots looking for a parking spot near the door.

  • Hahaha. While I doubt it would ever get that bad, you have to at least give them credit for advertising the stuff. Now if only we could make it price competitive, maybe the ads would actually be effective on a wide scale.

targets fucked too, but stop lying you bastards

  • If you really want to make some company pay for disposing of YOUR light bulbs, take them to "Home Depot" and drop them off. Oh yeah, and its FREE!

  • you SHOULD take it to a recycling center, just as it says on the box.....

  • That's not walmarts job to recycle for you at there expense yet. The package says right on it, call this number for the recycling center nearest you. Get off your ass and get a free recycling bin and take it to the nearest recycling center. That is YOUR job to recycle, just about every township recycles, see your borough office for information.
