NO, the Bill of Rights was an enumeration of our natural rights. There was actually controversy in passing the Bill of Rights because the founders were afraid that people may in the future take the document to mean that rights come from the government.
The government does not grant rights, it grants privileges. Privileges can be taken away, rights are inalienable.
natural, fundamental, god given, but not government given (not awarded by human power)

1. I'm pretty sure you can't declare yourself President until after you've won the *PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION*.
2. Our rights come from the US Constitution... which is supposed to be upheld by the government.
If any of these fucking idiots becomes President, then I'm done with the US. I'd rather live in Communist China where the people don't know about rights, than in USA where people threw their fucking rights away.
