The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet - A Rose a Day (3/3)

Wally joins the family for dinner and Harriet tells a story about Ozzie's first absence from home, some twenty-five years previously. Ozzie can't remember it but Harriet states that during that time Ozzie sent her one red rose every day for a week.

The next day, Joe, Ozzie's next door neighbor confronts Ozzie calling him a "Rose A Day Romeo." It seems that Joe's wife, Clara, heard the "rose a day" story from Harriet and is jealous. Later that day the perplexed Ozzie receives a delivery of one red rose for Harriet.

Ozzie believes that Joe sent the rose as a practical joke. Joe denies sending the rose and he and Ozzie set out to do some detective work on the mysterious rose delivery.

Renown character actor, Robert "Bob" Jellison, plays the role of the tip hungry delivery man.

The Tv world is mournig the loss of the last original cast member of the Ozzie & Harriet show. David Nelson, has just recently passed away this week. He'll be remembered for his role in the long running hit series on both radio & TV starring his parents & younger brother Ricky.
