@AdorableMadness Yes, but calling it a tuba is wrong. Its like calling something a whiskey when its a bourbon or a scotch. Point is, its still wrong to call it a tuba, whether you're a band geek or not.

As previously stated:
It's a Helicon! Period.
Ordinary peolpe, non brassband geeks, would describe it as a tuba since the words helicon, french horn or whatever word you like, don't make any sense to them.
So, if I want any views at all, I choose a word, that people would know about, in this case, Tuba. I know perfectly well that it's not the perfect term but it doesn't matter, this is not a scientific video on the subject of brass lore.

I am just a simple strings & bows guy so the question is normaly a bit out of my territory , but:
It is a Helicon. We have all kinds of instruments for rental in our wokshop (where the video is shot) and our brass staff are quite firm on that point.
Helicon it is. With Swedish fingering. (don't ask how that differs though...)
