King West Village
is a lively newer community of townhouses, condos, lofts, shops, fashionable restaurants and artist studios and it's just minutes from downtown Toronto by the TTC.
King West has undergone a serious transformation from the older, run down part of the city to it's new trendy status that now characterizes urban living in the city.

Where there was once industrial factories such as, Macgregor Socks, now sits modern Victorian-style town homes and high rise lofts and condominiums like DNA ("Downtown's Next Address") by Canderal Stoneridge (one of the city's more dependable and credible developers) today you'll find abundant retail and big stores such as Dominion, trendy bars and restaurants, and parks.

Other good lofts in the area are the Massey Harris Lofts, Zen Lofts I & II, Liberty Village (excellent for first time buyers), Gothic, Westside (good value!), Candy Factory  and The Kings, amongst others. You will also find some great value in older condos like Cityscape and Summit. The area has also seen some interesting townhouse developments over the past couple years on Tecumseth and Queen Streets.

King West Village area is bounded by Queen Street on it's north, Front on the south, Dufferin on it's west flank and Bathurst St. it's eastern boundary. Developers are taking hold of every available piece of real estate in the King West area, driving out long-time business related fixtures and seriously pushing up values.

The flavour of King West is found not only in its historical roots, but in the modern amenities of great shops, independent galleries, restaurants and clubs. King West is also parks, carwashes, fitness centers, health food shops and yoga classes.
