@thaumasein I understand that, but doing complex architectural calculations using simple tools is possible and has been done before, but not -precise- calculations, and apparently, unmistakable precision, computerized planning/machinery and willpower brought on by more than just belief, are required for the construction of the structures shown in this documentary. Those may be respectable sources, but for some reason, mainstream history is afraid to highlight the possibilities discussed on this.

maybe i streched it a bit with the two wooden sticks,... but i remember seeing somwhere,..showing some guy who made complex architectural calculation using two sticks and shadows cast by the object and sun,...

@thaumasein ...Another completely uneducated assumption. I've already responded to that question but to someone else, read that. The bottomline: "It's perfectly explainable" is FAR from the truth, and it's physically impossible to mimic a computer's mathematical precision with "two wooden sticks". That's nothing but a childish assumption, to be honest, and no one said they were stupid. Watch every part of this documentary before commenting on it.

@Gex9z if you're gonna build something BIG it's simpler and more stable if it's large at the bottom and shrinks going to the top,...you can't deny this. and also,..it's not like they were stupid back then y'know,... they were capable ob doing complex calculations with two wooden sticks,...whereas, today we need/use computers,.... it's all perfectly explainable without using some deus-ex-machina in the form of aliens,...

@thaumasein LMAO, I wouldn't call the construction of the great pyramids 'simple'. It isn't, by any stretch of the imagination. It was built with near-perfect engineering, apparently way ahead of its time.

@andysanj Exactly, and I guess most people are just too 'stunned' by all this and rather ignore it (which is just a shame), and I think that's why they don't teach this stuff. It would give the knowledge of human history that an individual possesses a bit more of a purpose than just 'knowing' the past, wouldn't it?
