@Beckikaze My apologies, its just sometimes I get defensive against the, shall we say less informed Meat Loaf fan who thinks he himself wrote the songs (Which you clearly aren't thankfully) . I must say though I enjoyed the Dream Engines version of this song, but if I were to compare thire versions of only when I fell, Meat would win (Only by a hair though) Also, cant argue with your thoughts on Bad for good., its an awesome album, my favorite of Jim's actually.

@torchwood11 : I know that this is Jim´s song. And I really love Jim´s work (Bad for Good is amazing) and Rory Dodd´s performance of Rock and roll dreams come through is very nice.
But: In comparison to Meat Loaf´s performance of OBJECTs the DREAM ENGINE sounds to weak for me. Sorry. Just watch this one: A song is only as good as the singer´s performance.

@Beckikaze MEAT LOAF FAN BOY!!!!!!. This is JIm Steinman's song and he chooses who sings it, not MEat Loaf.

Something is missing here. Emotion. And someone is missing: Meat Loaf. THe only one wo can perform this sing in a way how it has to be done.
Not saying that other performers haven't done justice to Steinman tunes, but Meat Loaf was by far the very best of all of them. I've yet to see a performance of a Steinman production (this one in particular) that Meat Loaf hasn't performed better. He kinda wrecked songs like Surf's Up...Rob Evan has a nice voice here, but there's no emotion :/
