Just a quick overview of my 300zx. Its a 1994 NA 5 speed with a tad under 126,000. I am going to be uploading videos now and again with my progress and questions. If you have any questions, incites, or recommendations, fire away.

Sorry about my awkward talking and crappy camera.

  • Lowfattegg - Look's like there is, indeed, some oxidation buildup in your headlights. You can simply sand & buff that out. As for your sound system, I really like the setup. Did the previous owner make those boxes himself? You also said it had been modded - most likely because that Amp is super exposed and the previous one was prob. stolen. If you really don't want those subs, I'll take 'em. As well as your exhaust. Shame you don't like it. Your car is looking like it will hit a 5.5 sec

60 time with that turbo. Hope you put one in. Also, I really like that 3D printed FOB, how did you get that made? Hmmm. One last thing, you don't necessarily need to assume you need a timing belt change. It may have been changed at the 60/80/100k mark. Pop the hood and check the belt for cracks. I wouldn't worry about small ones.

Tyler, all sarcasm aside, I look forward to watching the progress. I plan to start to do the same with mine.

  • @saltydawgs Its a non-turbo so its more like 6-7 sec 0-60. 3D printed at JNJ.

There were a few more reasons to assume the belt needed to be done. The service interval on these cars are every 60k. It has 126k so if the first owner did it, its time for another change. The belt idlers were making noises and the water pump was leaking. Rather be safe than sorry, its an interference motor so if the belt breaks the motor would be toast.

  • @saltydawgs Hey dude, the front lights are glass so they don't oxidize, there just really dirty. My only complain about the lights are the cracks in the rear third tail light (which costs like $150, so I am leaving it for now).

The boxes are custom you can buy them online special made for the car. I am going to keep the system installed, but like you said I am going to try to hide the amp a little better. All the glass is original so I don't think it has been broken into before.

  • @saltydawgs The z32 doesnt oxidize on the headlights because they are made of glass. I have owned my 500rwhp tt z32 for 3 years. So i consider myself a master at this car. I hand built my entire car.

  • Dude go to Courtesyparts . com for the rear tail light.
